Cette Oliva miniacea miniacea pourrait être une famille à elle toute seule tant elle a de variantes. Certaines qui étaient des espèces à part entière se sont révélées être des synonymes. Variantes ou formes: flammeacolor, efasciata, johnsoni, marrati, saturata, sylvia, tremulina, magnificat... Quelques unes sont là et leurs tailles vont de 50mm. à + 71mm. J'ai dû en ramener une ou deux de N. Calédonie, les autres venant de Ebay, brocantes et vide-greniers. Leurs points communs sont l' intérieur de la bouche jaune/orange, le bord du labre blanc à l' intérieur, les trois bandes ornant la coquille et le canal ouvert et profond.

Variants or forms: flammeacolor, efasciata, johnsoni, marrati, saturata, sylvia, tremulina, magnificat... Some are there and their sizes range from 50mm. to + 71mm. I had to bring one or two from N. Caledonia, the other from Ebay, flea markets and yard sales. Their commonality is the inside of the mouth yellow / orange, white board of the labrum to the interior, the three stripes adorning the shell and the open channel and deep.
